Is your craving for sweets ruining your diet?

Exercise "cuts eye disease risk'
Researchers from the University of Wisconsin followed almost 4.000 men and women over 15 years carrying out eye tests and recording levels of exercise.
After taking into account other risk factors such as weight, blood fat levels and age, active participants where 70% less likely to develop age-related macular degeneration (AMD) than those who did little exercise. Barbara McLaughlan, eye health consultant for the Royal National Institute of the Blind, said the research appeard to confrim that the benefits of a healthy lifestyle extended to the eyes.
